Congratulations!
Your relationship with your twenty-sided eye has reached its next stage of development. The love that it has for its bearer has increased, causing its abilities to grow. Sometimes one well informed decision can change the course of history. At sporadic intervals, your twenty-sided eye will now have the power to see one highly probable future up to 13 days from the present.
"I don't think you could possibly understand what a gift you've just been given. I could sense the magic flowing through that peculiar eye of yours. It was something I'd never seen before. I have a rather impressive expanse of knowledge concerning how to see into the future, but not like that. The spell was so efficient and steady. Even using all of my resources, I can only see flickers of possibility. That was something else entirely. If you don't take concrete steps to stop that future, it will happen. That is quite the skill, it should give you a glimmer of hope. I don't know how, but maybe you and your little eye will find a way to survive," Os mused.
"We are going to try," Joe replied.
"Okay. Good talk and all that jazz, but I need to go ahead and go so as to maintain my own internal consistency," Osâ avatar said as she stood up and began squeezing herself through the still-open airduct. "Feel free to proceed to the next floor, I'm sure you'll wipe it out easily," Os said before she stopped and mumbled an obvious curse from a language Joe did not know.
"What's wrong? Are you having trouble getting through the air vent? Sometimes when I sit for too long, I get a little bloated also. Just allow yourself to relax and I'm sure you'll make it through. No judgment, seriously, no judgment," Joe teased.
"Hardy, har, har. No, I'm not bloated. I just unfortunately made an error in my wording and the UI informed me it could be interpreted as the beginning of an attack. In order for me to get the 10,000 experience points back, that it's holding in escrow, I have to clarify what I said. I was joking when I said I'm sure you'll wipe it out easily. Raffle Fraggle! Never mind, apparently, I have to clarify that even more. Without a full party on the next floor, you will die. If you step out of the elevator alone, I see no way that you could possibly survive, let alone complete the floor," Os confessed.
"Thanks for the info," Joe said as he pressed the button for the top floor.
"Wait till I leave and connect the power! Honestly, talk about rude," Os said as she finished squeezing through the hole.
